Jason Marcus was born and raised in Holbrook, Long Island. Jason spent the first 18 years of his life enjoying all the fine things of Long Island. After graduating from Sachem High School, Jason moved to Albany, NY, where he attended the University of Albany. Although Jason enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere that upstate NY has to offer, he decided after school ended that he missed the culture and lifestyle he had become accustomed to in Long Island. So in January of 2000, Jason decided to move back.
Figuring that his calling was most likely to attend law school, he had a tough decision. When speaking to his family, he decided that he did not want to go back for more schooling. His mother, who worked for Bank Attorneys, and his sister, an Underwriter for a local bank, suggested that Mortgage Planning would be a great fit based on his honesty, integrity, and personality. Jason began his career in October of 2000, learning as much as possible about how the market moves, how the banking system works, how to take positions to get a prospective client the best rate, and most importantly, how to educate others.
Now, being in the industry for over 20 years, he considers himself one of the most knowledgeable mortgage planners in the industry. His track record and service speak for themselves, and his business continues to expand, especially in an economy that needs intelligent, passionate, honest mortgage planners.
Whatever your home loan purchase or loan refinance needs, Jason Marcus and the Contour Mortgage Corporation team have the know-how to confidently guide you through every step of the mortgage process.
